HomeResourceCarolina.com and the High Country Home Magazine and Resource Guide are both products of Market Connection Group, Inc., a print and online media firm located in the High Country of North Carolina. Market Connection, in Boone, NC, has been serving the people of the High Country for over four years . We have published over 20 publications including couponbooks, real estate folders, visitor maps, and now are most recent and most successful publication, the High Country Home Magazine. This publication is an elegant resource that delivers informative articles and beautiful images, as well as the best of the best in industry professionals to homeowners,second homeowners, and other High Country readers.

We are so very proud of our organization and our progress. We are constantly stiving to be the best publishers in the area and beyond. Our goal is to constantly improve our products. We spend hours researching the newest forms of media, both print and online. We subscribe to the best national magazines to stay on top of topics and designs and constantly strive to make our local and regional products as good if not better than the national magazines we subscribe to. We try to get as much feedback from our advertisers, readers, and printers as we possibly can to make our magazines better. We don't stop there when it comes to our research. We attend seminars on web marketing, have a variety of outside resources to pull from for search engine optimization advice and execution, and we are constantly checking sites like alexa.com and others to see what the newest online mediums are and how we can exploit them to the benefit of both our advertisers and readers.

Our team is small, but effective. Meet them:

Chris Rabon, is the owner of Market Connection, and publisher of the High Country Home Magazine. He is from Chipley Florida or as we like to call it lower Alabama. He has lived in Boone, NC long enough to call himself a loca. He opened the doors to his business four years ago. Out of a home office he was able to publish successful maps and incentive based publications. By combining his background in both sales and marketing with a hard work ethic and entreprenuerial drive he grew the company to where it is today. Market Connection is responsible for this fine quarterly home magazine, an innovative idea that Chris thought of while renovating his home. The success of this magazine has spawned ideas of expanding into other areas that need a resource magazine like this one.

Jon-Paul Grice is a graphic designer and editor from Southern Pines, NC. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in journalism. As the graphic designer, his designs are classic and clean. He challenges the people around him and is a definite asset to the team.

Lindsey Lanning, is an Air Force veteran from Huntersville, North Carolina. He currently resides in Boone. He is a marketing consultant for the magazine but really is our jack of all trades as he fields the phones, organizes the spreadsheets, makes the coffee, fixes the printer, and performs so many other random tasks.

Will Tucker is our newest account representative. He is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana but has lived with his wife and two children in this area for several years now. Will brings years of customer service experience to our team. He is eager to please and always puts his customers first. He also has some great stories as he has spent years sailing around the world.

Adam Minton is a commercial photographer currently living in Western North Carolina. Adam specializes in architectural, product, event, and portrait photography. Adam got his start photographing live music over 6 years ago and continues to do so as one of the official photographers of Merle Fest, a world renown American music festival, and Taking Back The Streets, North Carolina's only Christian Rock Festival.

Stefan Olson is a professional photographer who was born in Dallas, Texas but grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He has a bachelor's degree in photography from Appalachian State University. He specializes in action, portrait, product, architecture, and interior photography. 

Kayla Morton is a professional photographer specializing in wedding and children's photography. She is energetic and has a great spirit. She has joined our team to branch out into the architecture and interior genres.
